Sudoku is a great math game for homeschoolers- homeschooling moms too
. My daughter and I both enjoy playing suduko. It is great for logic and math skills. It is also great because different ages and skill can do it and solving it is a terrific self esteem builder. I warn you though- it can be addictive!
Each row, column and 3 by 3 grid must contain the digits 1 to 9.

June 5, 2006 — “Schooled! A Year in the Home” is the title of a new documentary series in development with Global Television and produced by MidCanada Entertainment.
The series takes an in-depth look at the ups and downs of Canadian families navigating the education labyrinth of Home Schooling. Producers are currently seeking families who would be willing to allow cameras into their homes at various times during the ‘06-’07 school year. Participants will represent a variety of ages, economic status and will come from both urban and rural settings.
Producers are looking for all types of home schooling families: those who are about to begin (and perhaps haven’t told the kids yet!); veteran home schoolers, and those who are considering throwing the chalk-brush in all together. The interview process begins immediately so we’re asking parents to contact us as soon as possible.
Interested parents should click here schooled@midcan.com to e-mail producers. Please give a brief description of your home-school situation and contact information. Producers will then arrange a follow-up interview. All correspondence will remain confidential.
