Authoring a novel can be an exercise in frustration. The writing itself is fraught with difficulty; problematic characters, plots that won’t flow, writer’s block, the list goes on. And, as if that’s not enough, once the manuscript is written the author has to face the challenge of getting their masterpiece past the automatic rejections and agent or publisher slush pile.
I Publish Press is offering an opportunity to bypass that secondary list of obstacles and get published. They are running their first annual Fiction Competition. Any unpublished novel is eligible for entry and the prize for 12 lucky novelists is publication and marketing of their work. The competition closes in February, with winners to be announced in March, 2007.
