The other week my 4 year old son came across a “Chuckie” (fromChild’s Play movies) in Wal-Mart. and was totally enamored. He has ALWAYS been drawn to anything scary. I remember once when he was 18 months old at the library one day he kept bringing my girlfriend book after book from the adult fiction section. STACKS of them. He was very particular about the ones he wants and I couldn’t figure out the common theme- then he pointed at the little skull at the bottom of the spine that indicated there were “murder mystery” novels. At 2 he began a so far lifelong love affair of Harry Potter.
I couldn’t remember just how scary “Child’s Play” movies were- and we looked together on You Tube. Yikes!!! Its was scary TOO scary. He was petrified and my husband was mad at me for even thinking of showing him a trailer. All day he went on about Chuckie and I tried to find something else “scary” that he might like. We ended up watching “Nightmare Before Christmas” he was thrilled and has been singing ” This is Halloween… This is Halloween” for last 2 weeks. Seems to have nipped that Chuckie fiasco in the bud :-)
Below are some other Halloween Movies for the WHOLE family to enjoy!
