    • Our Butterfly Hatched! Orange the Painted Lady Emerges

    Our painted lady butterfly


    We have been waiting for our caterpillars to hatch and my son noticed today his has hatched. We have 4 of the caterpillars which will become Painted lady butterflies.
    My son named his 2 Orange and Grape and my daughter was quite clever.. Mona and Lisa ( Painted Lady Butterfly- get it? )
    So one hatched and kids are riveted. I moved one set to terrarium and during the move they started thrashing like CRAZY so maybe they will hatch later to day.
