About The Winner

Allyson is twelve years old she’s been homeschooled now for three years, her favorite subject is history. She loves soccer, singing, and playing the piano. For fun she enjoys reading and designing things on Photoshop. I think she has a brilliant future ahead of her!

The Best Homeschooling Awards Logo Design Contest was a contest started in October to find a logo for “Best Homeschooling Awards 2008″ winners and nominees. You can submit your nominees here. The push is now on!

Allyson also won award for MOST design entries She worked really hard and most days when I opened my email i would expect to see her latest design entry.

I was so please to open up the contest up for homeschooling kids and happy to have had so many entries- over 50 kids ( and moms!) entered their designs. All of the design were good and was nearly impossible to pick even three to put up. I felt the three that I chose best reflected lifelearning.org and the “unschooling” nature of the site.

Wow- this was a tough decision. I have gone back and forth several time and made my choices for top three from the over 50 entries I received in the past month. I was thrilled to see so much talent in our homeschooling community! ALL of the designs were wonderful! The 3 below that I have chosen are the ones that I felt best suited the theme and message of Life Learning:

Some FANTASTIC designs coming in for the logo design contest! Will be impossible to pick just one.
I am really excited by the level of creativity our homeschoolers have shown.
