What makes a recipe a favourite? For me usually it is easy , fast and economical. With a family of varies tastes add everyone likes it! I have a several recipes that are old stand-bys and I know I can haul out and make and everyone will love. I have also included recipes that no matter where I bring people ask for the recipe. Old family favourites- like my Great Grandma Browns Traditional Scottish Shortbread - which is hands down the best shortbread you will ever tastes, my Grandma Betty’s straight of of the 50’s Kraft cheese spread- which has no redeeming features other than it tastes good !
